Barefoot Design & Build

The Barefoot Caravan was designed and developed in Britain in a collaboration of manufacturing expertise.

In order to perfect the unique curved shape, the Barefoot team engaged many experts in their fields, as well as the fresh inspiration of undergraduates from the Automotive and Transport Design Course at Coventry University – which is recognised internationally in the automotive industry.

It took four years to develop the Barefoot Caravan, but it was worth the hard work, and the patience required!

Most aspects of the Barefoot are bespoke: the galvanised steel chassis; the fibreglass body; the beautiful bathroom; the aluminium polished hinges; the hand built kitchen; the curved top lockers; the wine rack, and many more features

The Barefoot fibreglass monocoque body has been highly acclaimed and will give years of leak-free enjoyment, as well as an outstanding retro modern design.  Its aerodynamic performance makes it lightweight and easy to tow with a wide range of vehicles , including EV’s.

We are continually refining our product but many of our original developers remain involved, offering unparalleled British manufacturing and engineering, for which we are enormously grateful.
